In celebration of 50 Years of BMW of North America, the New Jersey Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America is joining forces with MINI, Rolls-Royce, and Motorrad owners clubs for a very special event at BMW North America's new headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. On Saturday, September 13, not only will BMW NA be celebrating their 50th anniversary, they’ll be saying “thank you” to the club members – the fans – for their enduring enthusiasm for all of BMW of North America’s brands.
The event will consist of a Cars & Coffee as well as a concours d’elegance for special and significant vehicles. While all are welcome to come to the event, parking in the Cars & Coffee area is limited to 100 club member BMWs and the concours d’elegance to just 20. This is sure to be a sell-out!
Special consideration for the concours will be given to BMWs from the "Class of 1975"; BMWs that were on sale when BMW NA first opened its doors. Specifically, those were the 3.0 si (E3), 3.0 CSi (E9), 530i (E12), and 2002. These and other rare cars will have a special display area on the grass at the center of the campus. If you are bringing one of these cars, use the "Display Vehicle" registration option.
Also joining the event will be the Rolls-Royce, MINI, and Motorrad owners clubs to celebrate all of BMW's brands on the concours field.
In addition to the Cars & Coffee and the concours, the event offers:
Technical workshops with BMW technicians on various topics throughout the day
A special presentation from author and BMW historian Steve Saxty
Concours awards for unique and significant vehicles
New, classic, and race vehicles on display with product experts from all brands on hand to answer questions
BMW motorcycles on display and the latest accessories
Curated test drives of new vehicles
Continental breakfast in the morning; outdoor grill with burgers, brats, etc., and beverages for lunch
It is truly a special event and among the largest attended annually.
